A Summer Tour to Remember

Expressing the collective sentiment of many, Third Eye Blind’s Stephan Jenkins shared his excitement, stating, “I have this sense that I am feeling the same way everybody else is — that we need a summer tour so badly, like more than ever. We need the lights, the noise, the heat, and everybody up close to each other, singing as one. Can’t wait.”

Joining the enthusiasm, Yellowcard’s Ryan Key added, “Third Eye Blind’s self-titled is a masterclass in songwriting that blew all of our minds when it was released in 1997. As ’90s kids, we were gifted with so much incredible music in our formative years, and we are all such massive fans of the band because of that record. It doesn’t feel real yet that we will be sharing the stage with one of our all-time favorite bands every night this summer.”

Additional Performances and Special Appearances

Before the Summer Gods Tour takes center stage, Third Eye Blind has a couple of other noteworthy performances lined up. First, a performance on February 24 at the Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona, followed by a headline show on April 12 in Toppenish, Washington. Tickets for these events are available through various outlets, including StubHub.

Fans can also catch Third Eye Blind on a special appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America on Wednesday, January 10. The band will not only perform but also engage in an interview, giving viewers a sneak peek into the excitement that awaits.

Celebrating “Jumper”: Special Releases

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of their hit 1998 single “Jumper,” Third Eye Blind is taking a unique approach. The track will be released on the first-ever playable .999 silver-coated and .997 karat gold-coated discs, a collaboration with the Precious Sound company. These five-inch discs, featuring the cover art of Third Eye Blind’s 1997 self-titled debut album on the B-side, can be pre-ordered on ThirdEyeBlind.com and PreciousSound.com. The silver-coated and gold-coated singles are priced at $450 and $800, respectively, with a pure 24-karat gold version also available.

Stephan Jenkins reflects on the significance of “Jumper,” stating, “25 years in, ‘Jumper’ makes a message of the value of a common heart. I’m happy that this is the first message immortalized on precious metals. The song has gone from dark to light. It started as a noir—where I am talking to somebody telling what I would have said to them had they not jumped off the Coronado bridge. Pretty dark stuff. Now when I sing it, it is a celebration of understanding and inclusivity, and you can see how eager people are to express that feeling. I love it. I love the transition.”

A Look Back and Forward

As Third Eye Blind embarks on their 2024 tour, fans can reminisce about the band’s extensive discography, including their latest studio album, 2021’s “Our Bande Apart.” In 2022, the band commemorated the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut LP with “Unplugged,” featuring acoustic reworkings of songs from their back catalogue.

In 2023, Yellowcard released their “Childhood Eyes” EP, while A R I Z O N A unveiled their self-titled album, setting the stage for an unforgettable collaboration on the “Summer Gods Tour.”

Stay tuned for an exhilarating summer filled with music, memories, and the timeless sound of Third Eye Blind, accompanied by the harmonious notes of Yellowcard and A R I Z O N A. This promises to be a tour that fans won’t want to miss.
