The band’s distinctive red, white, and blue skull logo slowly materializes on the colossal, 20,000-capacity venue. Formed in 2015, Dead & Company comprises Grateful Dead legends Bob Weir and Mickey Hart, alongside John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti, and Oteil Burbridge. Despite a lineup shift in 2023, the band’s final tour in the previous year was a monumental success. With a staggering gross of nearly $115 million and close to 850,000 tickets sold across 28 shows, it became the supergroup’s highest-grossing tour. Surpassing their Fall Tour 2021 earnings of $53.7 million, the band bid farewell to touring on an extraordinary high.
